Joe Hart is at risk of losing his place in the England team at the 2018 World Cup with David Moyes set to drop the West Ham goalkeeper, reports The Daily Mirror.
Hart joined West Ham from Manchester City on an initial season-long loan deal in the summer but has been error-prone all season for the Hammers.
The 30-year-old was ineligible against his parent club last weekend and Adrian flourished between the sticks in his absence, as West Ham slipped to a hard-fought 2-1 defeat.
Moyes is now set to axe Hart and reward Adrian with a run in the first-team, while the Hammers are now in the process of readying a new deal for the Spaniard.
West Ham face Chelsea on Saturday and Adrian is set to start for the home side, raising suggestions Hart may even lose his starting berth for England at the 2018 World Cup.
Gareth Southgate is already under pressure to drop Hart and it’s inconceivable to think he can start for England in Russia if he cannot even get in the West Ham first-team.
Of goalkeepers that have made at least five Premier League appearances this season, only Simon Mignolet (55.6%) has a worse save success rate than Hart (56.7%).
