Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus has revealed he is edging closer to joining Manchester City this summer, according to Fox Sports Brazil, via 101 Great Goals.
Barcelona and Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian this summer following his impressive start to the Brasileirao this season.
However, Jesus has revealed that City are on the verge of securing his services after they agreed a deal with Palmeiras that would see him loaned back for the remainder of the season.
Only Julian Casares (7.84) has a higher WhoScored rating in the Brasileirao this season than Jesus (7.83), who has scored at least two more goals than any other player (10).
