Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to sign Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, according to Fichajes.
Hazard, who was named PFA Player of the Year last season, has endured a difficult start to the new campaign.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho benched the Belgian star for their 2-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend and has been told he wouldn’t get back into the starting XI until he improves his defensive contribution.
The 24-year-old’s league performances this season have dipped considerably compared to the same stage last time around. By this time, Hazard already had completed 41 dribbles, scored two goals and registered one assist; averaged 0.5 tackles per game and had garnered a WhoScored rating of 8.03.
However, Hazard is yet to score a goal, completed 27 dribbles, is averaging 0.3 tackles per game and has garnered a WhoScored rating of 7.05.
