Aston Villa manager Remi Garde is considering his future beyond the end of the season after the club failed to land any other his transfer targets, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The Villans are rock bottom of the Premier League and 10 points adrift of safety and Garde has only won one match since replacing Tim Sherwood at the start of November.
Garde’s men are three games unbeaten in the league but failed to sign any players in January to rescue what already looked a lost caused, which has led the Frenchman to consider his position at the club.
Villa were the only club in the bottom six not to recruit any players after seeing Seydou Doumbia and Wahbi Khazri go to direct relegation rivals and deals for Mathieu Debuchy and Lovre Kalinic collapse.
In Europe’s top five leagues only two teams have won fewer games than Villa this season (2).
