Manchester United winger not interested in offers from China

Ashley Young has no interest in leaving Manchester United for the Chinese Super League during the January transfer window amid talk of interest from the Far East, reports Manchester Evening News.

The 31-year-old has barely featured for United this season and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this month as a result with a number of Premier League clubs reportedly interest in the versatile winger.

Young has entered the final 18 months of his current deal with United and realistically doesn’t have a long-term future under Jose Mourinho, although the United boss wants to keep the former England international until the end of the season at least as they continue to fight on four fronts.

An offer from the Chinese Super League could prove to good to refuse, as has already been the case this month, but Young reportedly has no interest in uprooting to the Far East.

Young has only made nine appearances for United this season and has only featured once since midway through December, when he played in all of United’s 4-0 win over Reading in the third round of the FA Cup earlier this month.
