Mbappe sensationally fuels Paris Saint-Germain exit talk

Kylian Mbappe accepted the award for the Ligue 1’s best player of the season by remarkably suggesting he could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The PSG striker is considered the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s throne as the best player in the world.

Mbappe has already won two league titles and the 2018 World Cup by the age of 20 and has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past.

The France international beat Neymar to the league’s best player award in Ligue 1 and used his acceptance speech as a come and get me plea.

“It’s a very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career,” L’Equipe quote Mbappe as saying, via The Daily Telegraph.

“I have discovered a lot here, and I feel it is perhaps the moment to have more responsibility.

“I hope that can maybe be at Paris Saint-Germain, that would be a great pleasure. Or perhaps elsewhere with a new project.”

Mbappe has scored 32 goals in 28 league matches this season and is second to just Messi (36) in the scoring charts across Europe’s top five leagues.

The PSG starlet is also the first French player since Philippe Gondet (36 goals) 53 years ago to score at least 32 goals in a Ligue 1 season.
