West Ham put £30m valuation on midfielder

West Ham will demand in excess of £30m for midfielder Manuel Lanzini in a bid to ward off potential interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham, reports The Daily Mirror.

Lanzini has really flourished for the Hammers since Dimitri Payet’s departure in January and his performances have now attracted interest from some of the league’s biggest clubs.

However, Slaven Bilic’s side have no interest in allowing another of their key man to leave the club and have slapped a huge price tag on his head in a bit to quash any suggestions of a possible exit this summer.

The Argentine midfielder only completed a permanent switch to West Ham at the start of the summer and the Hammers are even willing to hand the creative midfielder a new long-term deal, although they won’t be able to match what he could earn at one of the biggest clubs in the league.

Lanzini has scored five goals in his last eight Premier League home matches for West Ham.
