Underrated Buendia replaces Mane in Premier League Form XI

After a full weekend schedule in the Premier League and ahead of a rapid turnaround for gameweek 24 we take a look at the five changes to the latest Form XI.

Some big names have been replaced following the latest set of fixtures, while we start in goal, with Southampton's Alex McCarthy giving up the gloves this time around.

In the Saints stoppers place steps Alisson, who kept a seventh consecutive clean sheet in the league up against Manchester United on Sunday. The Brazilian made four saves in total before registering the assist for Mohamed Salah to score his first ever goal against the Red Devils in the dying stages.

There's one change to the back four, meanwhile, with Harry Maguire losing out to Everton's Mason Holgate. The youngster has quickly become a firm favourite of Carlo Ancelotti and is the only defender to have avoided rotation since the Italian's appointment.

Holgate was the man of the match as the Toffees took a point from West Ham, assisting Dominic Calvert-Lewin's leveller before clearing off the line in the second half. The 23-year-old also produced four tackles, two interceptions and five clearances in the stalemate at the London Stadium.

In midfield, Watford's Etienne Capoue comes in at the expense of Willian having played a pivotal role in the Hornet's six-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League. The Frenchman was in fine form against former club Tottenham at the weekend, producing seven tackles for the second match running, along with three interceptions.

Out wide, 'Form XI' mainstay Sadio Mane loses his place this time out following a subdued performance against Manchester United, with Emiliano Buendia coming in on the wing.

Having been dropped from the side briefly last month, the Argentine has been superb for an otherwise struggling Norwich side, earning a fifth WhoScored.com man of the match award in his last eight league outings.

The 22-year-old continues to be frustrated in front of goal but was the best player on the pitch against Bournemouth by a distance, attempting five shots, completing five dribbles and creating four chances. That's now 27 key passes and 29 successful dribbles in his last six appearances.

The fifth and final change this week sees Sebastien Haller take a place alongside Troy Deeney up front, with Gabriel Jesus the man to miss out having been dropped to the bench at the weekend. The West Ham striker wasn't on the scoresheet against Everton, attempting five shots in all, but won a whopping 13 aerial duels and continues to provide an out ball for a team still struggling towards the foot of the table.
