Liverpool forward Nunez among UltimateFan top scorers after historic midweek showing

Liverpool dominate the top 10 after their 4-1 win over Chelsea, while stars from Manchester City, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Newcastle and Luton also make the cut. 

 

10. Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

Darwin Nunez set records on Wednesday night against Chelsea having managed 11 shots and struck the woodwork four times. The Uruguay international also provided an assist in a memorable night for Nunez, though perhaps not in the way he would have liked. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old did enough to return 14 UltimateFan Points. 

 

9. Ivan Toney (Brentford) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

Having scored on his first game back following his suspension, Ivan Toney netted his second league goal in as many games as Brentford ultimately fell to a 3-2 loss at Tottenham in midweek. Toney scored with one of five shots and won five aerial duels as the Bees hitman, like Nunez, earned 14 UltimateFan Points. 

 

8. Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United) - 15 UltimateFan Points 

 

Rasmus Hojlund scored for the third game running as Manchester United claimed a massive three points at Wolves on Thursday. Hojlund's third Premier League goal of his career came from two shots, while the Dane was on hand to provide for Marcus Rashford again with one of two key passes to secure 15 UltimateFan Points this week. 

 

7. Luiz Diaz (Liverpool) - 15 UltimateFan Points 

 

The second Liverpool player in the top 10, Luis Diaz also garnered 15 UltimateFan Points in midweek. The Colombia international, like Hojlund, scored one and assisted another in the midweek round of games, those coming from respective returns of three shots and two key passes, in what was Diaz's best rated performance of the campaign so far. 

 

6. Michael Olise (Crystal Palace) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

Michael Olise was directly involved in a goal for the fifth league game running as Crystal Palace beat Sheffield United 3-2 on Tuesday night. The Frenchman netted his sixth league goal of the campaign and provided a brace of assists from four shots and two key passes as Olise secured 16 UltimateFan Points. 

 

5. Julian Alvarez (Manchester City) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

No Haaland, no problem. Julian Alvarez scored goals number seven and eight for the campaign as Manchester City eased past Burnley on Wednesday night. The Argentine hit the back of the net with both shots to help return 16 UltimateFan Points. 

 

4. Fabian Schar (Newcastle) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

They do say goals are like buses; you wait forever for one and then two come along at once. Fabian Schar was key as Newcastle beat Aston Villa on Tuesday, getting the better of Emiliano Martinez with two of three efforts on goal. An additional seven clearances helped Schar to a WhoScored rating of 9.06 and 16 UltimateFan Points.

3. Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) - 19 UltimateFan Points 

 

The second Crystal Palace representative podiums in the UltimateFan top performers from gameweek 22. Eberechi Eze bagged a brace at Sheffield United's expense on Tuesday night as he netted with two of four shots. Eze also chipped in with three dribbles and two key passes on his way to 19 UltimateFan Points.  

 

2. Conor Bradley (Liverpool) - 19 UltimateFan Points 

 

The man of the moment at Anfield, Conor Bradley shone on just his second Premier League appearance of his career having been directly involved in three of Liverpool's four goals against Chelsea on Wednesday. Indeed, Bradley scored his first Premier League goal and registered a brace of assists from respective returns of one shot and four key passes to return 19 UltimateFan Points. 

 

1. Elijah Adebayo (Luton) - 24 UltimateFan Points 

 

With 24 UltimateFan Points in midweek, Elijah Adebayo is the top earner from the midweek round of Premier League games. The Luton striker netted a hat-trick as the Hatters romped to a 4-0 win over Brighton on Tuesday night, with Adebayo netting with three of four shots. The 26-year-old also completed three dribbles in a stunning display.
