Fanteam Fantasy Football: Salah's impressive record against Brighton worth attention

We take a break from the World Championship of Online Fantasy Football this weekend, though you don't have to. There are still several qualifying tournaments into the WCOFF, where you can win a slice of the guarenteed €100,000 prize pool.

Instead, for us, we are focusing on the weekly monster for gameweek 13. There are different entry points for this weekly monster, ranging from €2 to €200 with jackpots varying from €6,500 to €50,000!

It's officially sacking season in the Premier League. Tottenham have changed manager last week; Arsenal announced the departure of Unai Emery on Friday morning and others should be looking over their shoulder. Manuel Pellegrini is one of those and things are expected to get more difficult for the West Ham boss when he takes his side to Chelsea on Saturday.

It's time to reveal our XI for gameweek 13, with, as always, additional analysis on three of our selections.

Christian Eriksen (Tottenham) - 11.3M

Christian Eriksen was intent on securing a move away from Tottenham in the summer and when that failed to materialise things suddenly went very flat for the Dane. Previously a guarenteed first-team regular for Tottenham, Eriksen has been forced to the fringes this season. There has been no change under new manager Jose Mourinho, though he offered a reminder of his qualities from the bench in Tottenham's 4-2 win over Olympiacos in midweek.

Eriksen helped Tottenham come from 2-0 down to secure three points and qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League. He will hope to benefit from any changes to the starting XI when Tottenham host Bournemouth and knows he has previous with the Cherries. In fact, the 27-year-old has scored in three of Tottenham's last four home league matches with Bournemouth.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 13.6M

Jurgen Klopp will demand a response from Liverpool on Saturday after struggling to a 1-1 draw at home to Napoli in midweek. Anything other than a Liverpool victory would be a huge shock against Brighton this weekend given they are unbeaten in their last 44 home matches in the Premier League.

You still get the sense Mohamed Salah is still trying to find his best form in front of goal but the Egypt international has only failed to score in one of six home league outings this season. Salah has also scored in each of Liverpool's last three encounters with Brighton.

Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) - 12.8M

With qualification for the knockout stage of the Europa League already assured, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had the luxury of leaving his entire first-team squad behind in England as the academy made the 5,800-mile round trip to Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Marcus Rashford was one of those to get a week's complete rest and Solskjaer will hope that decision proves a masterstroke in prolonging his red-hot goalscoring form. The England international has scored nine goals in his last 10 appearances for club and country and will return to the fold when United host Villa on Sunday.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 14 matches with Villa and have won 10 of the last 11 encounters. Villa, meanwhile, have lost five of their last six away league matches and have picked up fewer points on the road than any other team in the division (3 points).
