Premier League round-up: The star men from Sunday’s action revealed

Liverpool 2-0 Fulham - Andrew Robertson - 7.95 rating

Liverpool benefitted from a favourable offside decision to run out 2-0 winners at home to Fulham, inflicting further misery on the newly promoted side. Liverpool haven’t been at their ruthless best going forward but they have been exceptional at the back, with Andrew Robertson key at both ends of the pitch. The Scotland international provided the assist for Liverpool’s opener, while also creating another goalscoring opportunity for a team-mate. He also managed four tackles and interceptions combined, while only Virgil van Dijk (122) managed more touches than the 24-year-old (116).

Chelsea 0-0 Everton - Eden Hazard  - 7.77 rating

Maurizio Sarri may well rue his decision to take Eden Hazard to Belarus on Thursday, as the Belgium international did struggle to rediscover his best form against Everton. Nevertheless, he was clearly still Chelsea’s biggest threat going forward. The 27-year-old created five goalscoring chances and hit the target with two of his three shots on target, but something was lacking from his performance, illustrated by the fact his WhoScored rating was only 7.77.

Arsenal 1-1 Wolves - Matt Doherty - 7.56 rating

Arsenal prolonged their unbeaten streak to 16 matches after coming from behind to draw 1-1 with newly promoted Wolves. The away side will see this result as two points dropped after Diogo Jota spurned a marvellous chance to double Wolves’ lead, moments before Henrikh Mkhitaryan equalised. Matt Doherty was key at both ends of the pitch, winning eight aerial duels and registering three key passes. The 26-year-old also made five interceptions and five clearances.

Manchester City 3-1 Manchester United - Bernardo Silva - 8.68 rating

Pep Guardiola recorded his first home league victory over Manchester United as Manchester City boss courtesy of stunning midfield performances from David Silva and Bernardo Silva. They both combined for their opener before the latter produced a sumptuous cross for Ilkay Gundogan to finish off a stunning 44-pass move. Bernardo Silva registered six key passes in total, won three tackles and completed two dribbles.
