FPL Tips Gameweek 24: Man City and Liverpool youngsters the way to go

Ahead of the weekend's Premier League action, we deliver our Fantasy Premier League tips. Stars from Manchester City, Liverpool, Brentford, Bournemouth and Luton all feature as we gear up for another exciting round of FPL action.

Phil Foden - Manchester City

Manchester City are starting to hit their best form as they ready themselves for the run in. The City juggernaut so often clicks into gear around this time every season as they steamroll opponents in the final weeks of the campaign. One of those shining for City is creative star Phil Foden. Indeed, a hat-trick at Brentford on Monday night took him to eight goals for the season. Factor in his seven assists and Foden is on course for his most prolific campaign of his career.

Up against Everton this weekend, Pep Guariola is expected to use Foden from the outset once more as City look to move top of the table in Saturday's lunchtime kickoff. While he may be on the pricier side, Foden is one of the division's in-form star men and with three successive home league games on the horizon, he should prove a fine addition.

Jarell Quansah - Liverpool

Liverpool lost for just the second time in the Premier League this season as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last weekend. The Reds saw their lead at the end of the gameweek fall to just two points and they'll need to get back to winning ways this weekend in order to maintain their title charge. Ibrahima Konate's late red compounded a miserable afternoon for Jurgen Klopp's men.

However, the Frenchman's absence may well benefit teammate Jarell Quansah, who is in line to make his fourth league start of the season when Liverpool welcome Burnley to Anfield on Saturday. The 21-year-old has been solid when called upon and a strong showing this weekend will do Quansah's quest for regular game time no harm.

Dominic Solanke - Bournemouth

Dominic Solanke has gone a little off the boil in recent weeks having scored just once in his last four league outings for Bournemouth but he'll view the trip to Fulham as the perfect game to get back on track. Solanke netted in the reverse fixture and tends to perform well against the Cottagers.

Solanke has scored in each of the last five meetings between the two sides, and he's only scored more career goals against Huddersfield (6) than he has Fulham (5). The 26-year-old will be the Cherries' main goal threat once more in the capital and he'll back himself to add to his 13 league goals this weekend.

Elijah Adebayo - Luton

After a slow start to the season, Elijah Adebayo has been creeping up the goalscoring charts and having scored four times in his last two outings, including a hat-trick in the comfortable victory over Brighton; the 26-year-old now sits on nine league goals for the campaign.

Luton have claimed a result in five of their last six matches and they'll aim to pull further away from danger when they welcome table footers Sheffield United to Kenilworth Road on Saturday. The Blades have conceded at least 12 more goals (59) than any other Premier League side this season and have the worst away record in the division. Time to bring the in-form Luton man into your FPL side?

Neal Maupay - Brentford

While much of the furore surrounding Brentford in recent weeks has been the return of Ivan Toney, the striker's availability has masked Neal Maupay's solid form on the Bees frontline. A goal in the eventual 3-1 loss to Manchester City saw Maupay score for the fifth game running.

Factor in his assist in the heavy home defeat to Wolves and the Frenchman has been directly involved in a goal in each of his last six competitive starts for the Bees. A trip to Molineux will be tough for Brentford but Maupay scored at Wolves last month. In current form, he could prove a handy point earner that won't eat too much into your Fantasy Premier League budget.
