Manchester United have opened talks with Bayern Munich over a potential summer move for Matthijs de Ligt, reports Sky Sports Germany. 

 

United are in the market for a new centre-back in the off-season and have been courting Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite. 

 

However, they have since turned their attention to De Ligt, who surplus to requirements at Bayern. 

 

 

PSG prepared to break the bank for teenager

 

PSG are prepared to pay a world record fee to sign Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, reports Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo. 

 

Yamal has established himself as one of the brightest prospects on the continent and Barcelona are keen to retain his services. 

 

The 16-year-old only recently signed a new deal at the club, which includes a €1bn release clause, but PSG are looking to test Barcelona's resolve. 

 

Man City eyeing up summer recruits

Chelsea agree deal to sign midfielder 

 

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leicester to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, reports David Ornstein. 

 

The Blues had an opening offer turned down last week but had hoped to strike a deal with the Foxes for the 25-year-old. 

 

And Chelsea have since had a £30m offer for Dewsbury-Hall accepted, with the midfielder set to sign a contract until 2030.
