Form Guide

After back-to-back defeats, and a Europa League exit at the hands of Slavia Prague, Leicester look to have gotten their campaign back on track and come into this evening's FA Cup quarter-final tie on the back of a 5-0 win over Sheffield United. Their home form has been inconsistent of late, with Brendan Rodgers overseeing three wins and three losses in their last six.

Manchester United booked their Europa League quarter-final spot with a fine 1-0 win over AC Milan on Thursday night and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are now unbeaten in 14 matches, albeit drawing seven of those. They're yet to lose a domestic game on the road in 2020/21 and are unbeaten in their last 13 competitive meetings with Leicester, a run they'll seek to continue.

Team News

Brendan Rodgers is expected to name his strongest possible XI for the welcome of Manchester United, but has a number of absentee issues to contend with. Key full-backs James Justin and Ricardo Pereira miss out, while Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Wes Morgan are sidelined. Dennis Praet is available, though, which is a boost for Rodgers' side. The Leicester boss is expected to continue with an attack of Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy, with Ayoze Perez in support.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is without Phil Jones and Juan Mata, and is sweating on the fitness of quartet Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly. Paul Pogba made a goalscoring return to action following injury and while perhaps not fit enough to play the full 90, the Frenchman should start. Between the sticks, Dean Henderson is set to keep his place with David De Gea watching from the bench.

Key Battle: Wesley Fofana vs Harry Maguire

FA Cup team news and prediction: Leicester vs Man Utd

One of the signings of the season, Wesley Fofana has slotted into the Leicester XI with ease and is already a key man at the heart of the Foxes defence. Just seven of his 24 league and European starts has seen him return a WhoScored rating lower than a 7.00, though his second worst rated Premier League performance came in the home draw with Manchester United on Boxing Day.

After a rocky start to the season due to off-field issues, Harry Maguire has looked back to his imperious best for Manchester United. The United captain was named the WhoScored man of the match in their FA Cup win over West Ham in the last round, so he'll be looking to add another star man award to his collection at his old stomping ground today.

Score Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Manchester United
