Everton boss has one month to save his job

Underfire Everton manager Ronald Koeman has been given until the end of the month to save his job, reports The Daily Mirror.

The Toffees spent nearly £150m on new signings over the summer but Koeman’s side have made a disastrous start to the season and are currently only two points above the bottom three.

Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has already given Koeman his public support but Koeman has until the end of October to turn things around or risk being the second Premier League manager to be sacked this season.

Everton travel to Brighton on Sunday before finishing the month with matches against Lyon, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester in the space of 10 days.

Koeman’s side have only won two of their last 10 competitive matches and only managed to score four goals from their first seven league matches.
