Arsenal target free to leave PSG in January

Long-term Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot is free to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January if the Ligue 1 champions recoup a sizeable fee for the youngster, reports L’Equipe.

Rabiot, 20, has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal over the last two transfer windows as the north London outfit look to reinforce their midfield with greater spine.

The emergence of Francis Coquelin has dampened the need for another defensive midfielder, although Arsenal could now rekindle their interest with the Frenchman when the transfer window reopens in January with reports in France claiming he is free to leave.

Rabiot has struggled to nail down a starting berth since joining PSG from Toulouse in 2012, having started just 23 Ligue 1 matches in that period.
