Watford are in advanced talks to sign Malaga forward Nordin Amrabat, according to Sky Sports.
The Hornets have activated the £6m buy-out clause in the 28-year-old’s contract and are now set to discuss terms with the versatile forward.
Amrabat only made the switch from Galatasaray to Malaga permanent in April last year but is now on the verge of leaving the club after scoring eight goals in 46 league appearances.
Despite only featuring in 12 of Malaga’s 19 league games, Amrabat has been dispossessed at least 10 more times than any of his teammates in La Liga this season (38).
