Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is monitoring Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s development at Crystal Palace, claims The Daily Mirror.
Wan-Bissaka only broke into the Palace first-team at the start of the year but has enjoyed a remarkable rise since debuting against Tottenham in February.
The 20-year-old has already been capped by the England U21s and there have been suggestions the Palace right-back deserves a senior call-up from Gareth Southgate.
Roy Hodgson’s side rewarded Wan-Bissaka with a new four-year deal in April after the youngster quickly established himself as one of the club’s best players.
Wan-Bissaka’s impressive displays have even caught the attention of Guardiola, but the City boss is in no rush to sign him.
City already have Kyle Walker and Danilo as right-back options and strengthening in that area is not a pressing concern for the Premier League leaders.
However, Guardiola will continue to monitor Wan-Bissaka and could step up his interest when the time is right to sign a new right-back.
Since the start of February, only Mohamed Diame (94) and Idrissa Gueye (91) have won more tackles than Wan-Bissaka (73) in the Premier League.
