Spurs in talks with Sevilla over Soldado

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Sevilla over the sale of Roberto Soldado, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

Soldado moved to Spurs two years ago, but has failed to find his goalscoring touch in England, netting only seven goals in the last two league seasons.

The Spaniard is now surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, with manager Mauricio Pochettino keen to cash in on the striker as he looks to bolster his attack this summer.

And Spurs are now prepared to accept bids of around £11m for the 30-year-old, which would represent a £15m loss on the former Valencia star.

Sevilla are in the market for a new striker following Carlos Bacca's move to Milan and have earmarked Soldado as a possible replacement, who had been linked with a move to Monaco before the French side secured the services of Stephan El Shaarawy.
