Coutinho will be offered to Premier League duo on the cheap
Chelsea and Arsenal will be offered Philippe Coutinho in a cut-price deal this summer as Barcelona desperately look to offload the out of favour midfielder, claims The Sun.
Coutinho's 12-month loan stint at Bayern Munich comes to an end this summer and the Bundesliga outfit do not intend to make his stay permanent.
Barcelona want to sell Coutinho in order to raise money to fund moves for the likes of Inter's Lautaro Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar.
The Spanish side spent £142M to sign Coutinho from Liverpool in January 2018 but accept they will have to take a huge financial hit in order to sell the Brazilian permanently.
Barcelona are now holding out for £75M for the 27-year-old and have not even ruled out another season-long loan deal if they cannot command that fee.
Furthermore, potential suitors would only have to cover half of Coutinho's £280,000-a-week wages if they secure his services on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.
It has emerged London duo Arsenal and Chelsea will be the first clubs contacted about a deal for Coutinho, while Manchester City are also monitoring the situation.
Coutinho has struggled to cement a regular starting berth during his time at Bayern and has dropped down the pecking order this season following Thomas Muller's resurgence.
The Brazil international has only started 15 of his 22 league appearances for Bayern this season but has still returned eight goals and six assists to his credit.
