Fantasy Premier League Tips: The Double Gameweek Must-Haves
Ahead of double gameweek 34 in Fantasy Premier League, we’ve put together a shortlist of players sure to help you secure those crucial green arrows in your mini-leagues before the end of the season.
Goalkeeper: Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace)
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson heads into double gameweek 34 off the back of a season-high haul of nine points against Liverpool last weekend. With both of the Eagles’ fixtures at home - against West Ham and Newcastle - Henderson would appear a solid pick between the sticks.
Another player with two home fixtures over the upcoming double gameweek is Wolves defender Max Kilman, who is preparing to face Arsenal and Bournemouth. Of the six matches where Kilman has returned five or more points this season, six have come at home. The 26-year-old is also Wolves’ highest scoring defender in the game this term, with a total of 76 points to his name.
Midfielder: Kai Havertz (Arsenal)
The first of two midfield picks is Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, who will be gearing up to face former side Chelsea at the Emirates on Tuesday evening after the trip to Wolves on Saturday. Havertz, a midfielder in the game, will likely be deployed in the number nine role once more, as he often has in recent weeks.
Havertz’s average score per match over the last 30 days of 7.4 ranks seventh among all Premier League players, while only three Arsenal players have amassed more than his 133 points this term.

Midfielder: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah may have looked out of sorts over the last few weeks, but the Egyptian now gets set to face one of his favourite opponents in Everton; Salah has scored six goals in his last seven Merseyside derbies.
Before Wednesday’s clash at Goodison Park, though, Salah and Liverpool head to west London to take on Fulham, hoping to bounce back from a tough fortnight of results.
In the reverse fixtures against both Fulham and Everton this season, Salah returned a total of 21 points, and so it should come as no surprise that the 31-year-old is expected to be the most captained player in this double gameweek.
Forward: Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth)
Our fifth and final pick is Bournemouth hitman Dominic Solanke, who has this term set the record for the most Premier League goals scored by a Cherries player in a single season, with 17 (and counting).
The 26-year-old, who earned 13 points across the reverse fixtures with this week’s opponents - Aston Villa and Wolves, boasts the third-highest points total of any forward in the Premier League this season, with 156 to his name.
